All these images were made using a flat bed to scan the flower. The pictures caused quite a stir when they first appeared and were the subject of an extended article in the British Journal of Photography 06.08.03., one being used on the front cover of the magazine. Many featured in my exhibition at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden - Harlow Carr in August 2003.
